Microdermabrasion

Microderm is a manual exfoliating procedure using a vacuum-like wand with tiny crystals that slough off layers of damaged skin cells revealing softer, smoother skin and can even help with mild scarring. Microderm is safe for all skin types, colors and textures and is an alternative to laser resurfacing and chemical peels for those patients who are sensetibe to these techniques. Although one treatment will make the skin look and feel better, we recommend a series of 6. One every 2-3 weeks apart.

Dermaplaning

An alternative to chemical peels and microdermabrasion, this clinical exfolation gently removes superficial dead skin while also removing unwanted fine facial hair. You may want to add a chemical peel to this treatment for added benefit. The dermaplaning can be repeated every 2 to 4 weeks as needed to remove the new hair growth and/or the dull dead skin cell that make our skin look dull and feel rough.

What is DiamondTome Skin Resurfacing?

  • A mechanical form of exfoliation that removes the topmost layer of the skin improving wrinkles, texture and color resulting in more supple and vibrant skin.
  • A resurfacing treatment that stimulates the elastic tissue beneath the surface of the skin, resulting in a healthier, firmer appearance.
  • No downtime and a great compliment to chemical peels and home topical regiments.
  • Excellent for all skin types, rejuvenates sun damage skin, helps clear acne prone skin, reduces keratosis pilaris and improves overall skin health.

Glytone Professional by Enerpeel®

Over time, dead skin cells build up on the skin leading to uneven skin tone, fine lines, dullness, and reduced absorbency of skin care products. Exfoliation of the skin helps to remove these dry, dead skin cells on the outermost layer of skin (epidermis) to improve the skin’s overall appearance.

Chemical exfoliation of the skin involves using specific acid compounds applied topically to the skin to remove the outer layer of the epidermis in order to reveal fresh new skin cells. The type of acid, the amount of solution applied to the skin, the duration of time it is left on the skin, and the strength of the acid all play a part in how deep the peel will penetrate. Some chemical peels can be very mild and superficial, while others can be strong and penetrate deeper into the skin.

Glytone Professional by Enerpeel® uses an innovative technology that allows the product to penetrate the skin and work underneath the visible outer layer of skin, providing maximal effectiveness with minimal irritation. The term “peel” can be a misnomer because not everyone will actually see peeling after a treatment. With our Glytone peels, you can get the benefit of the peel with minimal or none of the “peeling” skin you may have come to expect with these treatments.

The chemical peels we offer include:

  • Glycolic peels
  • Salicylic acid peels
  • Mandelic acid peels
  • Modified Jessner’s peels
  • Peels specifically designed for the delicate skin around the eyes and lips
  • Hand peels
  • Neck and décolletage peels
